I have to admit, when I first heard about Kundalini yoga, I thought it was the weirdest thing and wanted nothing to do with it. Images of people dressed in white, wearing turbans, and chanting strange mantras filled my mind. But fate had something else in store for me. I attended my first Kundalini class with a friend, and although I felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave, I decided to push through and give it a chance.

To my surprise, that single Kundalini class became a turning point. By surrendering to the practice and getting out of my head, I was able to experience a profound transformation. I closed a chapter of my life that I had been holding onto, and it was a truly liberating experience. From that moment on, I was hooked.

Kundalini yoga is known as the yoga of awareness, and it goes beyond the physical postures typically associated with yoga. It works on a deeper level, helping you move beyond your negative mind and ego, and opening up channels to your true self and divinit. This practice has the power to regulate your nervous system, balance your glandular system, and clear out the garbage from your subconscious mind. As someone who has struggled with mental health issues and addiction, Kundalini yoga has been my lifeline. It has allowed me to release trauma and suppressed emotions without reliving past events.
